Merry Month of May...
Filed under News. Posted May 16, 2012.has come round again ….
And that means the closing of the television season and the start of a few months in which we won’t see much more than repeats. By now, Missing will probably have come to a close and we will know whether Paul lives or (as is much more likely considering Sean’s track record) dies. Because ABC has announced that there won’t be a second season, there is a petition going round onine to keep the show going, so go on over to Ipetitions and add your voice.
In case you missed any episodes, Missing is available on Hulu .
There is no news about the movie Pan and unfortunately it is beginning to look as if this project is going to fall through, although we can still find some information about it on Pan's IMDB page. Would be a shame if it didn't make it into production considering the stellar cast they have assembled so far.
Now for the good news. Sean is going to star in the Devil’s Peak trilogy adapted from the books by Deon Meyer. He's cast as the lead character, the grizzled detective Benny Griessel. The films will shoot on location in South Africa. His participation was confirmed by Variety, so it looks like a definite project for him. We’ll keep you posted as this project develops here and on the forums.
Open Road Films has acquired all U.S. distribution rights to Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the highly anticipated sequel to 2006’s film Silent Hill, released by Tristar Pictures. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be released wide October 26, 2012, in time for Halloween. Watch the official Facebook page for developments.
Accused: Tracie’s Story, will be aired on November 15, 2012 in the UK.

For those of you living in the U.K. Sean also did some new O2 adverts and he can be regularly heard on both radio and television, including some radio spots for the Cambridgeshire Police. Check in the Audio/Video Media archives for downloads of those spots.
The DVD release date for Soldiers of Fortune is still uncertain. At the moment it’s been announced that it will be released in the U.S. in 2012 (no precise date yet) and in Russia on July 19, 2012.
For those of you who can’t wait that long we have some new release dates for DVD/Blu-Ray: Mirror, Mirror – June 26, 2012; Cleanskin – July 2, 2012; Missing, the complete first season – June 12, 2012. Cleanskin has been out in cinemas for a while now and while reviews quite mixed, everybody is agreed that Sean’s performance is once more outstanding, so I for one, am really looking forward to watching it on DVD.
Sean has been quite busy with public appearances at several events and done some interviews over the past few months and there are quite a few new pictures in our gallery to show for it. Some very nice hi-res ones for the Mirror, Mirror and Cleanskin premieres where he posed on the red carpet and stopped to speak to fans and the media. Lots of nice shots of him at the after parties with his co-stars and other celebrities. There are both stills in the Gallery and video in the Archives of him being grilled on the Jonathan Ross Show.
